27 Mar 2024 SINCRO: the heart of the new A4 and A31 Italian motorway Operational Control Center
Opened today the new Operational Control Center, completed by SINELEC for the A4 Brescia-Padova and A31 Valdastico sections of the motorways managed by A4 Holding, an Abertis Group company that holds the concession in Italy for 235 km of motorway network in the Northeast of the country.
Taking part in this transformation, Sinelec took care of two key elements for motorway traffic control and management: the implementation of SINCRO, the traffic management platform, and the renovation of the Control Room Videowall for better visualization and management of all information in real time.
SINCRO is the advanced traffic system that enables comprehensive and sophisticated management by the operations manager and hall operators of events, scenarios, processes, interventions, providing a complete and immediate overview of all information collected along the road from Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) devices.
The solution, which is the result of Sinelec‘s experience in understanding the specific needs of motorway operators, offers immediate and comprehensive decision support to optimize response and intervention times, as well as a customized reporting system for analyzing individual case histories.
